OilMoney.io is a brand of The Valours Creative Innovation LLC (“OilMoney”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use oilmoney.io, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to amanda@unrth.com.
What We Collect
When you ask for The Bison Walk-Around: your name, email, and the LinkedIn profile URL you send us.
When you ask for The Tire-Kick Crew Report: your work email, the LinkedIn profile URLs of up to five reps, and your crew size.
When you join The Tailgate: your first name, last name, and email.
When you buy The Rig-Up or The Rotation: your name, billing details, and order history. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
When you browse the site: basic visit data that our website platform, Squarespace, collects through cookies (pages viewed, device, browser, rough location).
We only look at public LinkedIn profile information you point us to. We don't buy lists, and we don't scrape anyone.
Why We Use It
To make what you asked for: the Walk-Around video, the Crew Report, or the work you bought.
To send The Tailgate, if you signed up. You can leave the list anytime.
To run the business: invoices, records, and answering your questions.
To understand which pages help people, in aggregate.
We don't sell your information, and we don't rent it.
Who Else Touches It
Only the services we use to run OilMoney, and only for that purpose:
Squarespace hosts the site, forms, and store.
Stripe processes payments.
Loom hosts the Walk-Around video we record for you.
Google Workspace holds our email and working files.
Our crew and the Unrth bench, only to do the work.
We'll share information if the law requires it. If OilMoney is ever sold or merged, this policy goes with it.
Clients and Discretion
We don't put clients' names on our website. Every post we write for a client goes live only with that client's written approval. Proof on our site is real and dated, with names withheld.
Cookies
Squarespace sets cookies that keep the site working and count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will still work, though some features may not.
How Long We Keep It
Walk-Around and Crew Report requests: as long as we need them to do what you asked, and no longer.
Tailgate subscribers: until you leave the list.
Client and payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your Choices
Email amanda@unrth.com and we will, within 30 days, tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it (unless the law makes us keep a record), or take you off The Tailgate.
Children
OilMoney is for working oil and gas professionals. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top.
